Hello!
I like comics and I write about them on the Internet. My university major was American Literature and Culture, and in the meantime I was started getting deeper into comics. My main academic focus was on the Golden Age of American superhero comics. To be honest, this blog exist so I could share my essay on fridging.
The other reason is more personal. I keep buying comics, putting them on my shelf, and then I never read any of them. That’s a problem. So, I thought having a blog would motivate me to keep reading. Can’t post without source material, right?
What should you expect here?
Well, I mostly read DC and “other” publishers, like Image, Boom, etc. Some Marvel may slip in some time. Most of my comics are in collected editions, with only one shortbox of single issues. For more detailed explanation, see Regional Editions.
That means you can generally expect my thoughts on recently read books, posts with my recently acquired singles and an occasional longer essay.
I am a gamer as well, so I there may be posts about comics related games, or even movies.
